Taron Egerton, Paul Walter Hauser, Greg Kinnear, Sepideh Moafi, and Ray Liotta star in Black Bird, a crime thriller based on James Keene’s autobiographical novel In With the Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption.

Dennis Lehane, a renowned mystery writer best known for works such as Shutter Island and Mystic River, created the series.

Based on the actual story of former drug dealer Jimmy Keene (Egerton), Black Bird follows Keene as he attempts to do what the FBI failed to do, and elicit a confession from suspected serial murderer Larry Hall to find out where he may have buried his victims. Those who enjoy criminal thrillers and gloomy dramas will enjoy this series, which has superb performances.
