The company claims that if the user doesn’t accept the changes to WhatsApp Privacy And Policy. Then the app may get degrade in the user’s mobile phone or the account will get automatically deleted.
Moreover, at the beginning of the year only, WhatsApp ruled out some of the changes in the WhatsApp Privacy And Policy. Because of which most of the users were not happy. With this, we’re also not in a condition to accept the same. The changes were there to make the changes in the App’s business offerings. However, the changes that were introduced had a breakthrough as the changes completely highlighted the old policy of WhatsApp. These included the features like sharing certain user data, like phone numbers, with parent company Facebook.
Also, with the release of the policy, it doesn’t change immediately as it becomes controversial. A deadline was also made for the users to accept the new privacy policy till Feb 8. And if the users don’t accept then WhatsApp will get unstable on most of the devices.
But things seemed to be different because most of the users are there who till now have not accepted the new Privacy Policy. So, now WhatsApp showing them a pop-up message with the two options button in that. Which includes Accept as one button and with the Later option the other button. So, if the user presses the button of Accept then the selected data of the user will be shared by Facebook. And if choose the option of later then WhatsApp will show the pop-up message again and again. With this, the user will also be not able to use the app perfectly.
Moreover, the company also declared in February only that the users who will not accept the updates would immediately lose functionality. The company said in a statement that “For the last several weeks we’ve displayed a notification in WhatsApp providing more information about the update, “After giving everyone time to review, we’re continuing to remind those who haven’t had the chance to do so to review and accept. After a period of several weeks, the reminder people receive will eventually become persistent.”
