CBS’s top-rated Police procedural drama, Criminal Minds, has given fans multiple note-worthy episodes that left fans craving for more and more. The show has been running for the past fifteen years and is expected to appear with another season soon. It made its debut on September 22, 2005, and was supposed to be concluded on February 19, 2020, but its reboot was announced in February 2021.

In fifteen seasons, the writers have given us many memorable episodes. Some of which we enjoyed while some of which we genuinely embodied by creating various situations in the lives of our beloved profilers.

What drew the audiences toward CBS’s top-rated police procedural crime drama, Criminal Minds, was the portrayal of our beloved characters as the knowledgeable Supervisory Special Agents of the FBI as members of its Behavioural Analysis Unit.

These agents are known as Profilers, who specialize in studying human behavior. They have studied the language of actions and have critically examined how the criminals function in their natural habitat. These agents work wonderfully together and have proved from time to time that they indeed are family.

Dr. Spencer Reid was the surprising character that took heart from the minute he appeared on screen as a rookie agent who struggles to find his place among the nation’s best team of agents. He is the only character, along with Penelope Garcia, who appeared in almost every episode since the show’s debut in 2005. Spencer Reid was inarguably the most academically intelligent member of the team.

Despite being an integral part of the team, Dr. Reid, too, had moments where fans were disappointed by his affairs. One of the incidents falls into season 3’s episode 16, titled “Elephant’s Memory.”

The episode revealed a horrific part of his childhood that brought tears into our eyes. But his rash actions of simply handing over his security items to agent Prentiss disheartened us. Even the viewers believed him to be someone who makes horrible decisions regarding his health.
