The Fast Family seems to be growing even faster!

The renowned “Fast and Furious” star Vin Diesel announced on Instagram that Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will soon join the cast of “Fast and Furious 10.”

“Yeah… you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to your self ‘That’s Captain Marvel.’ Clearly there is love and laughter in this image. What you don’t see however, is the character you will be introduced to in ‘Fast 10.’ You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie,” Diesel captioned on Instagram Saturday night. The post hit quite a several engagements on Instagram.

“Fast and Furious 10”, directed by Justin Lin, will hit the theaters on May 19, 2023. Diesel will continue to play Dom Toretto with the rest of his crew, including Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, and Charlize Theron, who’s played the villain Cypher since the release of “The Fate of the Furious.”

Earlier this year, the announcement of Jason Momoa and Daniela Melchior joining the cast of “Fast and Furious 10,” added to all the superhero stars who previously joined the Fast Family. Other Fast Family members who have played the role of superhero characters in the Marvel and DC franchises include Gal Gadot, John Cena, Kurt Russell, Michael Rooker, Idris Elba, and Djimon Hounsou.
Late last year, Dwayne Johnson, who is said to have played the badass cop Luke Hobbs in five “Fast” films, declined a public invitation from Vin Diesel for returning to the franchise.

This one will be the second last chapter for the current cast of characters. The 11th movie, which is yet to come, is said to be the final film in the Fast Saga that will end the ultimate Fast Series.

The Fast fans are intrigued and anticipate what the 10th part of “The Fast Ans Furious” has in store for them.

Larson reconfirmed her casting on Sunday morning through a post on her Instagram.
