AMC’s top-rated apocalyptic serial drama, The Walking Dead, is on its way to concluding its eleventh and final season. Since October 31, 2010, the show has been running and released ten seasons with 164 episodes.

AMC has indirectly confirmed that Maggie will not kill the character with the news of another spinoff. Trekking to New York for their series doesn’t necessarily imply they’ll become friends, but it indicates that they’ll reach a peaceful solution.

The only thing that keeps fans on their toes is the unexpected death of our beloved characters. But since the fate of the two leading characters is already spilled and spoiled, we won’t have to worry about them getting killed during the finale.

The upcoming new series central ing Maggie and Negan will be the sixth television series in The Walking Dead universe. It is titled Isle of the Dead and is expected to hit the screens in 2023, likely after the main show’s final season. According to the reports, the spinoff will produce a six-episode saga that sees Maggie and Negan meeting dangers when they end up entrapped in Manhattan, unable to get back to the landmass.

The news of this latest and unexpected spinoff shook the fans and the showrunners. Angela Kang wasn’t anticipating the announcement of the approaching Maggie and Negan spinoff, “Isle of the Dead,” to be declared in March as the final season airs. She shared her thoughts and revealed that she had no information regarding this spinoff while working on the Walking Dead’s finale.

The news softened the trauma of the final season, but it also diminished the stakes of what should’ve been a troubled minute since fans knew going into the episode that Cohan’s character would emerge in next year’s spinoff. She also disclosed that it would have been much better if the announcement wasn’t discovered mid-season.
