On answering one of the most asked questions, Simone Ashley, The season 2 Bridgerton sensation, clarifies that she will no longer be seen on Sex Education.
Remembering the times she has been asked the same question, again and again, Simone Ashley said that she gets asked that all the time and that she always says no and that she is a Bridgerton Girl now.
It has been recently confirmed that the renewed Season 4 of the globe-trotting show Sex Education will soon be back with all of its original cast members. However, according to the Kate-playing actress, she will be ditching the show. Season 2 of the historical drama Bridgerton hit the streaming platform Netflix last month and soon became the third most-watched show in the English language on Netflix.
The show gathered love from all the overseas markets. The show also had a lot in store for the season’s lead actresses playing, Kate and Edwina. Ashley played the role of the love interest of the Viscount of Bridgerton, Lord Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey). Ashley broke the news as she appeared on the show This Morning.
She explained to Vernon Kay that she will be returning for the season 3 of Bridgerton, though and that she wants to explore what Kate’s new married life would be like since the time would be one year hence and given the fact that she is now the Viscountess, the head of the family.
Simone had previously played the role of Olivia Hanan in Sex Education as a supporting side character. This makes sense if she puts Bridgerton, the one she plays a lead role in, above Sex Education. The bookish order renewed the Bridgerton series for seasons two and three.
However, Chris Van, the maker, has now hinted that the series would no longer run along with the order of the books. Had it been the bookish order, fans would have been able to see Benedict Bridgerton’s love story.
