One of the most popular shows on CBS is making a comeback with its sixteenth season. The news of the rival of the famous Police procedural thriller, Criminal Minds, has made its fans ecstatic, and many are spending their time revisiting the fantastic storyline.
Paramount+ confirmed the news of its revival in February 2021. The show debuted on September 22, 2005, and concluded its fifteenth season on February 19, 2020. It ran for more than a decade and had broadcasted 324 episodes in total.
In fifteen seasons, the writers have given us many memorable episodes. Some of which we enjoyed while some of which we genuinely embodied by creating various situations in the lives of our beloved profilers. Hence, today we are here to recall one of the best episodes of season 2.
Season 2 is known for delivering one gasp-inducing storyline after the other. From the investigation into murders of children that revealed a child to be a serial killer to three high-school soccer stars who were forced to kill one of their peers, plenty of episodes kept the audience disturbed yet hooked in equal measure.
One episode that stood amongst these excellent plotlines was the second episode of Reid’s kidnapping arc titled “Revelations.”. The episode stands with an excellent rating of 8.9 out of 10 on IMDb, also the highest of Season 2. The episode starred Hankel torturing Reid, manipulating spine-chilling methods while exemplifying the identity of his vicious father, and treating his suffering with Dilaudid while embodying his attitude. Van Der Beek’s chaotically excellent illustration of Hankel and Gubler’s impactful theater, supported by a well-written two-episode arc, kept the viewers attached to their seats through a rollercoaster of emotions.
