According to a report, Chris Noth may spend Christmas away from his wife, who is “very upset” about the recent string of sexual assault allegations against her husband.
Tara Wilson, an actress and businesswoman who has two children with the actor, “is not doing well,” according to a source. The allegations have been refuted by Noth. One of the three women who have come forward with accusations against the actor who played “Mr. Big” in “Sex and the City” quoted him as saying that even when married, monogamy was a “sham.”
“He could be non-monogamous; we’ve established that his wife was unaware,” the friend told The Sun. “If anything, he is responsible for that. She is in Los Angeles and is very upset… she is not doing well. They had planned to spend Christmas together, but that is no longer a possibility.”
Orion, 13, and Keats, 18 months, are the Noths’ two sons. Wilson, now 39, first met Chris Noth in 2001 while working as a bartender at The Cutting Room, a downtown club that Noth co-owns. In 2012, they married in a small ceremony in Maui, Hawaii.
Despite the fact that Noth’s theatrical agency has already dropped him, the source believes there should be no rush to judgment. Noth was dropped by A3 Artists Agency on Friday night, according to Deadline. According to an A3 spokesperson, Chris Noth is no longer a client.
“Every tale has two sides, and people need to know this before they judge,” Noth’s friend told the Sun.
A representative for Noth called the recent assault claims “complete fabrication.” The company that was supposed to buy Noth’s tequila business also called off the deal on Friday.
