The fantasy drama Sweet Tooth has been on the list of best shows on Netflix. Fans were amazed to see the first season of the Netflix original series. Now, they are waiting for another season with an air of expectancy.

We are here to bring you every detail we know so far about the show. Currently, only one season is available to stream on Netflix. Still, it came as good news to the viewers when its second season was confirmed. And its production is in the works and expected to wrap up till June this year.

The streamer renewed the series in July 2021 for season 2. Based on the response of the comedy post-apocalyptic show. It has checked all the boxes to get the green light to tell more of the story.

As per a report from What’s On Netflix, the filming of Sweet Tooth season 2 was scheduled to start in early 2022 and end in June 2022. An actor confirmed this information on the show. Christian Convey took his Instagram to share the update with a picture with his stunt double. He wrote, “So good to be back with my awesome homie and stunt double @liamreynolds Let’s do this!”

As the show is still in production, it’s hard to predict a release date, and we will have to wait for an official announcement. The production will end in June. The series will go into post-production to add all the final touches and the visual effects since it’s a fantasy tale. However, we can expect the show to arrive on the streaming giant during early 2023.

The show is based on the comic book of the same name by Jeff Lemire. The plot explores the adventure of a 10-year-old boy in a post-apocalyptic world who is half human and half dear in search of a new beginning with a gruff protector.

The new season’s official synopsis is not revealed yet; we will have to wait for a while till we know what’s to come for the show in its latest season. Till then, stay tuned for more exciting updates.
