The all-new Sony’s WF-1000XM4 comes with an Integrated V1 noise-canceling processor. With this, the earbuds also have 6mm drivers. The other specs come as LDAC support, earbud tips made from a special foam, a bone-conducting sensor.

Now if we talk about the design for the model then it comes with a completely new redesign and with this time the earbuds are 10% smaller in size than their predecessors. Also, the earlier version of WF-1000XM3 was very popular but was always criticized due to its bulky design.

The new earbuds are also proven to be a is a product of thorough and meticulous data analysis. The reports suggest that Sony whenever introduces the new earbuds. It only focuses on the comfort and the design of the new earbuds by comparing the new ones from the other brands.

Now if we talk about the noise cancellation feature then Sony brands as its top-tier noise-canceling headphones and earbuds with the “industry-leading” badge. The test for the earbuds for the feature of noise cancellation was taken by JEITA (Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association). Also, this time Sony has developed an Integrated V1 processor, and it builds upon the acclaimed QN1e silicon found in the old model.

This time the buds have three microphones that include noise-canceling duties – one feed-forward and one feed-back microphone. The WF-1000XM4 offers 8 hours and an additional 16 hours from the charging case, even though the case is 40% smaller than its predecessor. A 5-minute quick charge gives the user 60 minutes of playtime. Also, wireless charging is supported on both the earphones and the charging case.

The Sony’s WF-1000XM4 buds cost around €280 and are available from June 2021.
