Splitting with our partner has never been easy. It brings back a lot of negative thoughts and drives our hearts crazy.

It doesn’t matter whether we are famous or not. Going through this phase is hard on all of us. And the same can be said for the leading singer Shawn Mendes as the once couple notified their fans tweeting that they have officially decided to go separate ways romantically. Although their post specifies that both will still be best friends, it is still hard for the young artist to handle being away from his two years girlfriend Camila Cabello.

While commenting on the release of his latest song, ‘It’ll be Okay, Mendes shared his inner thoughts with his fans stating that he is having a hard time handling his breakup and is having a tough time being on social media.

Due to this, the actor had taken a short break from these platforms before taking a short break, and on deciding to return on December 30, 2021, he expressed his thanks to his fans for supporting his latest video.

The new breakup anthem broke many hearts as some of the lines written by him portray his true feelings on this split up.

The 23-year-old singer posted a video while in his home in Toronto, providing his 65.9 million followers the update about his well-being. He said, “I just wanted to make a little video and say thank you to everybody who has been connecting with ‘It’ll Be Okay’ and posting videos. I’m having a little bit of a hard time with social media at the moment and just kind of my relationship with it.”

The ‘Mercy’ famed singer also thanks to all his fans, who are sending him heartfelt condolences through multiple videos praying for his well-being.

He further said, “I just wanted to come on here and show my love and appreciation. I see you guys, and I see how much love you’re giving this song and giving me, and that means the world to me. So thank you, I love you guys,” Mendes said while concluding his message.”

With that, the singer took his leave. His fans across the globe are still hoping for him to feel better and praying for him to overcome this sadness. Hopefully, the singer and his ex-girlfriend Camila Cabello will soon be able to handle this difficult situation and continue their journey with the thoughts of a new beginning in their minds.
