As per recent updates, Netflix is bringing the next two seasons of the ‘Servant of the People’ on May 16, 2022. Only the United States has confirmed receiving seasons 2 and 3 for now. Still, it’s likely that at least 17 countries, including Canada, India, and Israel, who all recently received season 1, will get the newer seasons too.

Netflix is currently streaming 2015’s Political satire comedy Servant of the People, starring the sixth and current president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy. Netflix recently acquired the streaming rights to Servant of the People. In 2022, the series suddenly rose to fame when Zelenskyy won widespread admiration as a resistance figure against Russia and Putin, leading to the series becoming more popular.

Zelenskyy has been part of every news headline due to the ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

The series made its debut on Kvartal 95 on October 16, 2015, and ran for three seasons before concluding on March 28, 2019. Along with Zelenskyy, it starred Stanislav Boklan, Olena Kravets, Jury Krapov, Mykhailo Fatalov, Oleksandr Pikalov, Eugene Koshovyi, Viktor Saraykin, Natalia Sumska and Kateryna Kisten.

The show is a Ukrainian political satire that focuses on an absent-minded high-school history teacher, Vasyl Petrovych Goloborodko, who lives with his parents and turns into an Internet sensation overnight. His success credit goes to a student who filmed him while launching a profane rant about corruption in Ukraine and uploaded the video on YouTube.

The first season is available for streaming on Netflix in select Netflix regions, including Netflix in the United States, Canada, Australia, India, and European regions. It consists of 24 episodes. The action in the series is parallel to what happened with Zelenskyy in 2019. Just like his character, he ended up sitting on the chair of the President of Ukraine.
