Hulu’s Original series is set to hit Netflix on March 31, 2022. The news was revealed through the latest Netflix notification in which Netflix disclosed March 2022 news on the Netflix guide.

Casual is an American comedy-drama series that debuted on Hulu on October 7, 2015. The show ran for three years and finally came to an end on July 31, 2018. With four seasons in total, the series stands with 44 total episodes. All four seasons will stream on Netflix from the end of March 2022.

This Comedy-drama is about a bachelor brother and his newly divorced sister living under one roof again. It is primarily considered one of the hidden gems of the vast Hulu library.

The show’s cast includes Michaela Watkins (best known for her role in The Unicorn and Trophy Wife), Tommy Dewey (known for his work in The Mountain and Grey’s Anatomy), Nyasha Hatendi (The Comedian), Julie Berman (General Hospital) and Tara Lynne Barr (God Bless America).

The sitcom is created by Zander Lehmann. It is filmed in a Single-camera set-up and is exclusively produced by Jason Reitman, Zander Lehmann, Liz Tigelaar and Helen Estabrook.

Casual is not the first Hulu show to stream on Netflix. Before, we have seen some Hulu titles coming to Netflix internationally since Hulu isn’t global. Some of the franchises include Castle Rock and Mother/Android.

The primary reason behind this sudden modification is that Hulu only held exclusive distribution rights for a fixed period. The show is ultimately owned by Lionsgate Television, and therefore he is the one who determines its streaming future. Lionsgate Television has worked alongside Netflix in the past, and they’ve produced Dear White People, and most notably Orange Is the New Black together.

Despite the series coming on Netflix, Hulu has no indication of its removal from its site. Instead, we expect the series to be shared between Hulu and Netflix and other possible streamers in the future.
