Ryan Reynolds’ local New York City pizza place thinks he’s Ben Affleck and he’s “never corrected them.”
Ryan Reynolds is a dead ringer for Ben Affleck. Ryan’s local pizzeria always confused him with Ben Affleck, and ironically he lets them.
On an episode of the “Dear Hank & John” podcast, Ryan said about the East Village pizza spot that “They believe I’m Ben Affleck, and I’ve never corrected them.”
It’s been “years,” the “Deadpool” actor, 45, added. “I feel it would not go over well if I revealed.”
Despite grabbing a slice “like everybody else” and not getting it for free because of his celebrity status, Ryan thinks it may be too late to correct them.
“They’ll ask how J.Lo is, and I go ‘great’ and just get my pizza and go off,” he continued.
He also fears he may be giving Affleck a bad rep with his “mildly put out” look.
“When I leave, I think they’re like, ‘I don’t think We amuse Ben Affleck. I have to be more chipper. I gotta take care of Ben.'”
Ryan revealed that he has also been confused for Ryan Gosling. According to Rya, the two could not be more different.
If he had starred in “The Notebook,” he said, it would have been “unwatchable.”
“That would have failed horrendously,” he joked. “It would have been worse.”
