Information about total posts
A total of 1535 posts are being recruited under this recruitment.
Of these –
- 1340 posts are for non-scheduled areas,
- While 195 posts are reserved for Scheduled Areas.
This recruitment will be on contract basis, in which the candidates will get appointment for a fixed period.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
To join the recruitment, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree (BAMS) in Bhisgacharya/Ayurvedacharya or Ayurveda. This degree should be from a recognized university or institution in India.
Along with this, the candidate should be registered with the Board of Indian Medicine, Rajasthan.
Talking about age —
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 40 years
The age will be calculated on the basis of 1 January 2026.
As per the rules of the Rajasthan Government, age relaxation will be given to Scheduled Castes, Women and Special Categories.
Online Application Process
Interested candidates can fill their online application by visiting rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
It is mandatory to upload all the documents properly and pay the required fee while filling the form.
Candidates who do not pay the fee will have their forms automatically rejected.
Application Fee
Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has fixed separate fees for different categories –
- General Category – ₹600
- OBC (Non Creamy Layer) / EWS / SC / ST / Specially Qualified Candidates – ₹400
The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card or net banking.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a written examination.
- The pattern of the examination will be something like this –
- Total 150 questions, each in Multiple Choice (MCQ) format.
- Exam Time: 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes).
- 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer, while 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- In this exam, the candidates will be tested on their subject-wise knowledge, reasoning and general knowledge.
Salary and other benefits
- The candidates who are selected in this recruitment will get a salary of ₹28,050 per month.
- This salary will be as per the pay scale fixed on contractual basis.
