Twilight is the biggest name we could ever imagine for a fantasy universe. The trilogy is the classic for both in books and on screen. It has a huge global fan base. Kristen and Robert both rose to fame and unimaginable success after being cast as their character in the movie series. We all love a little behind the scenes every now and then but today it’s a little bit of first audition.

The “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke was a guest on ‘The Big Hit Show’ podcast looked back on the audition of the zeitgeist film franchise.

Hardwicke said “Rob and Kristen did the audition right here on the bed. They did the kissing scene and he fell off and landed right there on this floor”
She continued “Rob walked in and he had his hair dyed black for some play, with these wacky bangs. He was a bit out of shape. His shirt was just all messy, and I’m like, ‘Oh, okay. Okay, let’s see how this goes.”

Catherine admitted that Robert Pattinson was so into the kissing scene that he fell off the bed and did not realize she added “I’m like, Dude, calm down. And I’m in there filming with my little video camera, whatever … in the end, Kristen was like, ‘It has to be Rob.”

Further conversing the Hardwicke said “I could tell they had a lot of chemistry, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God; I thought, Kristen was 17, I don’t want to get in some illegal things, So I remember I told Rob, By the way, Kristen is 17. In our country it’s illegal to have a sexual…’ and he’s like, Oh okay, whatever.”

The lead actress in twilight revealed to The New Yorker has year. That audition kiss with her co-star was the moment when she was convinced that Pattinson has to be cast as Edward Cullen in the movie.

According to reports, both actors were very passionate to portray the exact emotions the romance story demanded. They wanted it to make it sing.
