The 33-year- old Barbadian singer, actress, fashion designer, and businesswoman Rihanna is all set to expand her lingerie brand “Savage X Fenty” by opening new stores.
On Friday, January 7, Rihanna announced, her widely successful lingerie brand “Savage X Fenty” will open physical stores. The first five cities in which the stores will be opened include Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, hannaPhiladelphia, and Washington, D.C.
The dates of openings are yet to be announced.
The singer wrote on Instagram, “2022, we coming in HOT! we bout to bring you a whole new #SavageXFenty experience with the launch of our brick-and-mortar retail stores!” Accompanied by a post.
The Barbadian singer’s been rolling out a range of increasingly revealing looks, including crotchless catsuits and butt-baring pajama bottoms. The third installment of her Amazon Live fashion show debuted in September, featuring celebrities like Irina Shayk, Emily Ratajkowski, Cindy Crawford, Gigi Hadid, and more strutting their stuff in latex and lace while performers included Normani, Ricky Martin, and Nas.
With its expansive size range, diverse casting, and mercifully male gaze-free campaign imagery, Savage X Fenty helped fill a much-needed gap in the industry: a label that operates on empowerment rather than the wildly unrealistic beauty standards peddled by Victoria’s Secret and its now-canceled Fashion Show.
The singer’s lingerie brand was opened in 2018. It is now valued at $1 billion within four years of its foundation.
