CBS popular Police procedural crime drama, Criminal Minds, is currently rumored to be prepared for another run as per Paramount+. The news of the members returning from the original cast has hyped the fans for its revival. The six actors who are so far scheduled to return include Kirsten Vangsness (Penelope Garcia), Paget Brewster (Emily Prentiss), Joe Mantegna (David Rossi), and Adam Rodriguez (Luke Alvez), A.J. Cook (Jennifer Jareau), and Aisha Tyler (Dr. Tara Lewis).

What drew the audiences toward CBS’s top-rated police procedural crime drama, Criminal Minds, was the portrayal of our beloved characters as the knowledgeable Supervisory Special Agents of the FBI as members of its Behavioural Analysis Unit.

These agents are known as Profilers, who specializes in studying human behavior. They have studied the language of actions and have critically examined how the criminals function in their natural habitat. We have seen these fantastic agents dive deep into the criminals’ history, including their childhood, to seek answers about the whereabouts of their latest victim.

Since day one, fans have loved these agents and are still hoping to see them on screen in more episodes. We can’t imagine the show without these characters, and it is pretty shocking to know that if the cards had been played differently, we might not have experienced the journey of our favorite tech analyst.

According to various reports, it was revealed that Kirsten Vangsness, who plays the role of Penelope Garcia, wasn’t meant to stay for this whole journey. Vangsness had announced that she was initially only appointed to appear in Criminal Minds’ pilot episode, and the decision to have her in the lead cast was taken after season 1.

Her presence has always made the show appear to have a positive side. Imagining the show without her teasing and enduring nature is next to impossible. It’s great news for fans that she is also scheduled to reappear on screen in the upcoming season.
