PC VR’s Incuvo port for the jungle survival game Green Hell is now out.

The game launch trailer was first released at the VR Upload show today. Green Hell VR was already released in Quest 2 earlier this year, and we were big fans of that version. The PC VR system, however, is slightly different.

In Quest, engineer Incuvo stripped the first flat-screen game to fit into independent headsets. The result was a game with smart scales and one of our favorites of the year to date. But the release of today’s PC VR translates the whole real game into VR. The original map and set of properties are all included, and movement controls are also used.

It’s a real VR survival game, then. You will need to maintain the health and mind of your character as you hunt for food, protect predators and find a way to escape.

We do not have your final update today but rest assured, we were playing this version of the game and look forward to bringing you what emerges soon. Incuvo also claims to get experience with PSVR in some way next year, which could mean some version of PSVR 2, if we are lucky.
