On Saturday, Olivia Rodrigo’s first song, “Drivers License,” completed its first anniversary.

On January 8, 2022, Olivia Rodrigo posted a black and white throwback video on her Instagram account and wrote.

“Happy first birthday to the little song that changed my whole life,”
“I made this video a day or two after I wrote drivers license in my living room (with a very squeaky sustain pedal, lol). crazy to think how quickly life changes.”

She further added, “thank u to everyone who has supported me so tenderly. music is the most magical thing in the world,”

In December, The 18-year-old singer-songwriter was celebrating her first tour selling out, and this month she is celebrating her first single, “Drivers License,” Turning one.

“Drivers License” is the debut single by American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo, 18. It was released on January 8, 2021, and debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100.

It held the spot for eight weeks at the beginning of the year. Moreover, her debut album “Sour” topped the Billboard 200 for five weeks.

The American singer has been awarded and nominated several times at various prestigious award ceremonies for her song Drivers License.

The song won among the Top Ten International Gold Songs at the 2021 RTHK International Pop Poll Awards, became the Song of the Year at the Apple Music Awards, and got nominated in MTV Europe Music Awards, American Music Awards, and more.
