Nothing Phone 1 may be released without an included charger, per a YouTube video revealing the smartphone’s packaging. The handset is about to launch globally on July 12th, and the anticipated price of the smartphone has also been dropped. Nothing has recently declared that Phone 1 will possess an under-display fingerprint scanner. Nothing founder Carl Pei had previously confirmed that the smartphone would contain a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, and the handset is going to feature a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup.

In a recent video released by reviewer Gaurav Chaudhary, the Nothing Phone 1 retail box seems to be slim and is said to be created from recycled bamboo without the use of plastics outside or inside the box. The video also indicates that the Phone 1 will feature a 100 percent recycled aluminum frame. The company seems to be following the precedent set by distinct smartphone brands for their flagship handsets.

It will possess an LED notification system named the Glyph interface that will light up the rear panel of the smartphone, which is also announced to come with Gorilla glass protection. It is also announced to run Android 12 out-of-the-box.
