Dead to Me is a dark comedy streaming TV series created by Liz Feldman and executively produced by Feldman, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Jessica Elbaum.
The dark comedy series has entered into post-production, where it can take up to eight months. However, we’re not expecting the show to take this long in post-production phase.
There was a story that some episodes had already arrived in the editing system while the show was still in production. This could lessen the show’s time in post-production, and we could see Dead to Me season 3 more quickly than expected.
Fans have been patiently waiting for a new season of the dark comedy series, and the wait is still on.
In July 2020, the series was rebuilt for a third and last season. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, production of the third season was postponed until late spring 2021 and was then further halted by Applegate’s many sclerosis diagnoses.
The release of the third season will now be sometime in 2022.
The show started creation in May 2021, it stopped for some time in August when star Christina Applegate took to Twitter to share that she was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, commonly known as MS.
She tweeted, a few months ago that she has been diagnosed with MS. It’s been a strange journey for the actress since. But she has been supported by a community of people that she knows who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going “Unless some asshole blocks it.”
She also posted, “As one of my friends that has MS said, ‘we wake up and take the indicated action.’ And that’s what I do. So now I ask for privacy. As I go through this thing. Thank you xo.”
