CBS hit Police procedural, Military action drama, NCIS: Los Angeles is currently airing its thirteenth season. The show debuted on CBS on September 22, 2009, and its ongoing season premiered on October 10, 2021. As of yet, the season has released fourteen episodes.

The seventeenth episode of season 13 is titled “Genesis,” It is scheduled to hit the screens on Sunday, APRIL 24.

In the episode, the team of agents helps Akhil Ali locate a fellow officer who has gone missing while recruiting foreign assets as potential sources of intelligence. While focusing on the case, the episode also focuses on Callen and Nate Getz, who is tracking down a man Callen believes was present for his training in his youth.

The episode featured the regular star cast, including Chris O’Donnell (Special Agent G. Callen), LL COOL J (Special Agent Sam Hanna), Linda Hunt (Operations Manager Henrietta “Hetty” Lange), Daniela Ruah (Special Agent Kensi Blye), Eric Christian Olsen (NCIS Investigator Marty Deeks), Medalion Rahimi (Special Agent Fatima Namazi), Caleb Castille (Special Agent Devin Rountree) and Gerald McRaney (Retired Admiral Hollace Kilbride).

The episode was a Callen Centric one, but one thing that changed the team’s dynamics because Callen wasn’t separated from the group voluntarily this time. The basis of the episode was to establish another villain in the story and find a love interest for Fatima.

One of the previous side characters made his reappearance. Akhil Ali, who was last seen interrogating the squad on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 Episode 5, was seen in this episode as he sought help because one of his officers, Maria Varza, had gone missing.
