Internet Explorer

So, the time has come to farewell to the most common search engine that is Internet Explorer.

On Wednesday Microsoft said in a statement that the company is planning to remove the Internet Explorer from some versions of Windows 10 on June 15, 2022. After that, the versions will not be able to support Internet Explorer.

A blog post published by Microsoft on Wednesday suggests that “The future of Internet Explorer on Windows 10 is in Microsoft Edge,”. It also added to it that “Not only is Microsoft Edge a faster, more secure and more modern browsing experience than Internet Explorer, but it is also able to address a key concern: compatibility for older, legacy websites and applications.”

Some of the rumors suggest that Microsoft will still be able to give support of IE to some of the versions that might include from Windows8.1 to Windows 10 only.

Along with this, last year only Microsoft announced that the company will be dropping the support for the IE in Microsoft 365 apps and services. The effect for the same will take place on August 17, 2021.

Moreover, with this, the browser IE had also failed many times in order to fulfill user satisfaction. And in front of this, when the user likes the other browsers that include Chrome from Alphabet Inc.’s Google unit and Safari from Apple Inc. have won audiences.

The reports claimed that Internet Explorer had only 2% of the browser market in the month of April and that was also only for the desktop. The report was taken out by the Firm Statcounter. In accordance with it, the rivals of it, Google Chrome had the market at around 65% and Safari has around 10%. Along with this, the partner’s Browser Microsoft edge had around 8% of the browser market.
