“Love, Victor” is finally headed to make its entry on the streaming giant “Disney+.”

The series, which is based on the queer teen romantic drama called “Love, Simon,” was initially developed for the streamer but was then pushed towards “Hulu” after the executives had worried that specific issues on the show, including that of teen sexuality and that of alcohol use, weren’t at all right fit for Disney+.

Now, all the seasons from the 1st one to the final will be available on the streaming service Disney+ and on Hulu beginning from the 15th of June.

The first premiered season contains ten episodes, focusing on Victor (played by Michael Cimino), a new student at the Creekwood High School juggling between home life and has questions about his sexual orientation. He had debuted on Hulu back in June 2020. According to Hulu, the series was said to have been the most-watched drama on the service during the same week of its premiere on the streaming service. The sophomore season premiered on the 21st of June, 2021.

“Nick Robinson,” who had starred as “Simon Spier” in the Greg Berlanti directed movie, serves as the series’s narrator and producer. He is also said to have appeared in two episodes.

The on-screen cast includes Rachel Hilson, Anthony Turpel, and Bebe Wood. The film’s original screenplay writers “Aptaker” and “Berger” now serve as the executive producers alongside Brian Tanen, Rick Wiener, and many more prominent names. The series is said to have been produced by the 20th Television, a part of the Disney Television Studios.

“Love, Victor” had earned two GLAAD Media Awards for the outstanding comedy series back in 2021 and 2022.
