Jordan Turpin is a name that first made headlines in the media in 2018 when she escaped from her house of horrors where her parents kept her and her 12 other siblings captive. She managed to free all her brothers and sisters from their abusive home heroically. Now Jordan has become a Tik Tok star.
Turpin’s account recently got verified on Tik Tok with almost half a million followers on the platform. Jordan shared a video of her gratitude towards her audience and Tik Tok. She said “Hey guys, I just wanted to pop on here really quick and say thank you so much for all the love and all the support to whoever has followed me or watched my videos, I appreciate you so much and I love you guys so much. The survivor captioned it “@tiktok thank you so much! Thank you to all my fans I love you all so much.”
The 21-year-old now is an aspiring musician and a motivational speaker to be, she joins the viral trends and dances on the app. She has recently collaborated with a fellow tiktoker Loren Gray for some videos. She also has an Instagram following of 1 million.
The Turpin name rose to so much fame and love when they were featured in a documented event of ABC news The Escape from House of Horrors: a Diane Sawyer Special Event” exclusive footage of Jordan’s Escape was Featured on a TV special. The TV event has now become the most streamed and watched event in ABC news history.
Jordan has also shared her support for anyone who donated to the JAYC Foundation, which helps the children who went through similar abuse as her.
“People have been asking me do I see my siblings often, how are my siblings doing, I want to let you know, I do see my siblings very often and I love them so much. We are not in the best living situation right now but we do have a roof over our head and we have a way to get food and we are all very thankful for that.”
She recently admits in an interview that she is in a much better place in her life right now and all her siblings are definitely in a better place.
