As per the latest reports, several US army personnel face injuries from Iran’s missile attack. Iran attacks with missiles on the Al-Asad airbase in Iraq. The attack took place last week on 8th January 2020.

As per the reports from the US-led military coalition, several members of the US army face severe injuries. Many are getting treatment for the concussion symptoms occurring from the blast and are still under treatment. Although Pentagon denies of any casualty initially. The confirmed reports came on Thursday from the US military officials. The revelation came on Thursday on 16th January.

The US army takes rapid action and the victims are ta to the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany from Al-Asad airbase in Iraq. The victims are taken for follow-on screening and detecting future dangers. The statement also reveals that the members will return to Iraq after the screening.

As per a military official, 11 members of the US army face injuries in the attack. The attack is the retaliation for the killing of Gen. Qasem Soleimani of the Iran army. The US air force opened an attack on the Iran army a week before the Iranian attack on the US army.

The Iranian retaliation 

After the US airstrike on Iran on 3rd January, red flags are seen on the Iran mosques. The red flag symbolizes revenge that Iran vows to take. Notably, Iran lost its army General Qasem Soleimani on 3rd January. The retaliation came from Iran on 8th January, with 16 missiles fired at a time.

As per the reports, 11 victims face injuries and 8 are taken to the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. The reports came from a statement from the US Central Command spokesperson Capt. Bill Urban.
