Iran Military Commander Promises to take Revenge

The American embassies across the Middle East warned the possibility of missile and rocket attacks on Americans from Iran. On Monday, the embassy located in Jerusalem warned all the American citizens to stay safe and watch out for any possible mortar rocket attack. The Saudi Arabian embassy also warned the Americans in a similar kind of statement. The tension between the United States and Iran is increasing like never before, owing to the murder of Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani in Iraq. He was one of the top military commanders of Iran and responsible for operating the foreign intelligence services. 

At General’s funeral, the military commanders of the country promised to take revenge on the United States. The supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, asked his advisors to take action against the United States openly. 

Hossein Salami, the leader of the Revolutionary Guard, warned the United Staes for a strong and decisive attack. The state news agency claimed that Hossein Salami blamed the United States for the hatred in the Muslims’ hearts. On Monday, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, offered his prayer near the General’s coffin.

Iran Declares the USA’s Military Leadership as Terrorists

On the other hand, the parliament of Iran recently passed a bill, which declares the top hierarchy of the United States military leadership as terrorists. Now, the Iranian government can put sanctions on them officially. Expert suggests that the move will prohibit the top commanders from the United States to travel or buying a property in Iran. Previously, the United States declared Iran’s elite paramilitary force, Islamic Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization. This development is first of its kind when the armed force of a sovereign government declared as a terrorist organization. 

The parliament also awarded a whopping 223 million USD to its Quds Force for avenging the murder of their general, the state news agency confirmed.
