Fans have previously seen a Movie adaptation of the novel titled “The time traveler’s wife,” released in 2009.
But now it’s time to see a series adaptation of the science-fiction romantic drama series.
The Time traveler’s wife is an upcoming American drama series based on the novel mentioned above by Audrey Niffenegger.
The series is set to release on HBO in May 2022. However, the exact date of the premiere is yet to be revealed by the streamer.
Steven Moffat has served as a show writer for the series, while David Nutter has led the direction team and executive produced it, along with Steven Moffat, Sue Vertue, and Brian Minchin.
The 2009 movie adaptation, which featured Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana, tells the magical love story of Claire, an artist, and her husband, Henry. He had a genetic disorder that resulted in his time traveling randomly and with no control.
The story chronicles their relationship as it is often complicated by Henry’s sudden absences and reappearances lost in time.
In the upcoming series, Game of Thrones star Rose Leslie plays Clare Abshire, and Archive star Theo James portrays Henry DeTamble. Alongside Rose and Theo James, “The Time Traveler’s Wife” will feature Desmin Borges, Natasha Lopez, Josh Stamberg, Kate Siegel, and Jaime Ray Newman.
