The Dead To Me season 3 has finished filming. The fans have been waiting for another season to the premiere, but the shooting was delayed due to pandemics. Season 3 is going to be the final season of tragic-comedy.

It is good news for fans to relive the anticipation initially; the show’s production started in May 2021; following the pandemic surge, it faced many delays. However, the show was expected to wrap in August 2021, but the shoot was temporarily held to help recover the lead star, Christina Applegate. Soon the production resumed before the end of 2021. In February, the filming was officially completed.

Netflix released the two seasons of the show in May. The first one premiered in 2019, and the second in 2020. Unfortunately, the show missed its release in 2021, but the final season can drop in May 2022. It stands as a possibility following the previous release of the show. We don’t have an official date yet, but it will be soon screening on Netflix.

Following the wrap, the show will now go into post-production. Hopefully, the crew adds all the finishing touches, and we will get to see the jaw-dropping conclusion to the dark comedy show.

The show follows the story of “Jen whose husband died in a hit-and-run, and the sardonic widow is determined to solve the crime. Optimistic free spirit Judy is also suffering a tragic loss of her own. The ladies meet at a support group, and despite their polar-opposite personalities, they become unlikely friends. As the women bond over bottles of wine and a shared affinity for “The Facts of Life,” Judy tries to shield Jen from a shocking secret that could destroy her life as she knows it. The dark comedy explores grief, loss, and forgiveness’s weirdly funny sides.

The cast includes TV veterans Christina Applegate, Linda Cardellini, James Marsden, Natalie Morales, Sam McCarthy, Steve Howey, Ed Anser and more.
The show has marked its success with primetime Emmy awards, golden globes, SAG and People’s Choice Award. It is worth the wait. Stay tuned for more updates.
