The mystery thriller took the internet by storm; Enola Holmes became one of the biggest movies of Netflix releases in 2020. Since then, it has created such a huge fan base that it eagerly waits for its sequel release. Unfortunately, we have to wait a little longer as there are no signs for the release in March.

During the TUDUM fan event, Netflix officially revealed that they had wrapped up the production of Enola Holmes 2. Though we don’t have a concrete date yet, the film will be released in 2022.

The streaming giant announced the final wrap of filming through its Twitter handle, writing, “The Sequel to Enola Holmes has officially finished filming! Until it premieres, enjoys this first clue to Enola’s next great adventure.” Along with a short clip of Louis Patridge and Enola on the last onset.

The filming finished in January this year, so the sequel must be post-production. It usually takes a time of 6 months or less based on how CGI heavy the film is and how much time it will require for the whole editing process. The movie is likely completed in post-production until mid or late summer this year, speculating release in July or August. But we are just assuming until we have an official date.

Milly Bobby Brown is an in-demand actress, so her appearance has created a lot of hype for her fantastic performance as well. Netflix plans to ride the train of hype to get the most out of their original movie from the audience.

Brown and Patridge will reprise their roles in the movie, plus July seems like an opportune time to release some more work from the actress following her upcoming mystery-led series The Stranger Things.
