Throughout his journey as a musician, his guitar had created a distinct genre of music. Wilson had been the last survivor of this beloved band. According to the reports provided by his son, Tim Wilson, the artist died due to natural causes in Tacoma, Washington.

The band had multiple records which included being the best-selling instrument band of all time along with having the band score of No.2 in 1960.
His family first confirmed the news of his death, saying Don Wilson passed away this morning in his sleep.
“Our dad was an amazing rhythm guitar player who touched people all over the world with his band, The Ventures,” Don’s son Tim Wilson said in a statement. “He will have his place in history forever and was much loved and appreciated. He will be missed.”
