Don Wilson, the founding member of The Ventures along with Bob Bogle took his final breath on January 22, 2022.

The guitarist found this instrumental rock band in 1958 and this band had a huge impact on the development of music worldwide.

Throughout his journey as a musician, his guitar had created a distinct genre of music. Wilson had been the last survivor of this beloved band. According to the reports provided by his son, Tim Wilson, the artist died due to natural causes in Tacoma, Washington.

The beloved band has provided the world with amazing hits like “Walk, Don’t Run” and the theme song for “Hawaii Five-O”

The band had multiple records which included being the best-selling instrument band of all time along with having the band score of No.2 in 1960.

His family first confirmed the news of his death, saying Don Wilson passed away this morning in his sleep.

“Our dad was an amazing rhythm guitar player who touched people all over the world with his band, The Ventures,” Don’s son Tim Wilson said in a statement. “He will have his place in history forever and was much loved and appreciated. He will be missed.”
