Liz Feldman’s dark comedy series, Dead to me, is soon returning for its third season as the series wrapped up filming for the upcoming season, confirmed by Netflix life.
However, there is no official announcement regarding the exact release date of the series, but according to the predictions, the series might release in May 2022.
The series, featuring Christina Applegate, Linda Cardellini, James Marsden, Max Jenkins as the main cast, follows the story of two friends Jen( Christina) and Judy (Linda), who meet via a grief support group.
After Jen’s husband was killed in a car accident, she becomes a real estate agent based in Laguna Beach, California, trying to cope with the loss she has been through, through therapy and other methods.
This might be disappointing news for fans that the upcoming season of the series will be the finale, so fans are expecting that this season will clear all the confusion left in season 2.
According to some predictions, something might happen between Jen and Steve’s twin brother.
Steve’s semi-identical twin brother was introduced in season 2, who is Jen’s new love interest.
However, the storyline is kept a secret.
During an interview with TV Guide, James Marsden interpreted his character Ben.
James said, “Not only is he maybe going to find out that Jen was responsible for his brother’s death, but he’s also guilty of a hit-and-run. And they were the victims of the hit-and-run. And his brother was guilty of a hit-and-run in the first season.”
Previously, when the series was announced for a season 3, the show’s creator, Liz Feldman, said, “From start to finish, Dead To Me is exactly the show I wanted to make. And it’s been an incredible gift. Telling a story sprung from grief and loss has stretched me as an artist and healed me as a human.”
She continued, “I’ll be forever indebted to my partners in crime, my friends for life, Christina and Linda, and our brilliantly talented writers, cast, and crew. I am beyond grateful to Netflix for supporting Dead To Me from day one.”
