Dave Bautista said that he no longer would play the role of the Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel series after the guardians of the galaxy part 3.

The actor is working in the Marvel family since the year 2014 when his first movie Guardians of the galaxy get released and now the actor is thinking of stepping away from the Marvel industry. In an interview with IGN’s Joseph Knoop, the actor clearly explained his role in the new movie Guardian of galaxy volume 3 and also explained his future to the marvel universe.

The director of the movie also made a statement in respect to the same that “I don’t know what the script of the third film is, to be honest with you. There was a script years ago that obviously is going to have to change because the whole direction of the Marvel universe has changed.”

Moreover, the sources also claimed that the director of the marvel universe was thinking of a movie with the Drax and Pom Klementieff’s Mantis. The sources also confirm that in reality there were talks in the marvel universe for the same. The source claims that the idea was off James Gunn to make a movie of Drax and Mantis.

Moreover, the source from the industry clearly mentioned that the director’s thought that the movie that they are thinking of between the Drax and Mantis might not get successful as the characters are very little part of Marvel and not like the Iron Man or Captian America. So, it is might possible that they have closed this idea.

However, one thing is confirmed that Dave Bautista will be out of the Marvel universe after the making of the Guardian Of The Galaxy Volume 3.

In the context of same, he also tweeted on Friday that “Drax isn’t going anywhere. He just won’t be played by this dude!”
