So, here comes the two types of news for the social media app Clubhouse. The first comes the good news which is that now the app has also launched the new version for the Android base after a very long time. The second comes to the bad news which is that the Android version will be one other version like the iOS only and is avlaible to the US users only. So, the app will run only on an invite basis and not just like anyone can sign up and host a room.

The firm Sensor Tower reports that the app downloads are crashing for a month and also the downloads of the app have now fallen. here is the report that says that the app had 9.5 million downloads in February and that fell directly to 2.7 million in March. Now in April, the report is up to 9,00,000 only.

On Sunday in a blog post the company said that first, the app will be available for the English users that are got the US only and then to the whole world. The users can pre-register for the app before the launch at the play store page and can use the app when the app is launched.

The company said that “Our plan over the next few weeks is to collect feedback from the community, fix any issues we see, and work to add a few final features like payments and club creation before rolling it out more broadly,”

Moreover, the company also claims that after summer it will also allow the entry of the waiting iOS users as till that time the company will improve its infrastructure and the addition of the features include expanding language support and adding more accessibility features.

One of the theories have climes that the reason behind the fall of the Clubhouse downloads and usage may be that earlier everyone was in homes due to the pandemic and now due to the vaccination all over the world, most of them have come out of the places and now are interacting with each other face to face leaving the clubhouse ignored. The other reason behind the same may be that now the competition has increased and every single app is trying out features like a clubhouse.
