‘Clark’ Starring Bill Skarsgård: Release Date, Cast, Plot and Everything Else We Know

The Swedish series starring Bill Skarsgård is coming to Netflix this spring. With its captivating story, the thriller crime series is going to the biggest titles to be released this month.

The show is based on the life of the most infamous Swedish bank robber, who is the man behind the ‘Stockholm syndrome.

Jonas Åkerlund directs it. Fredik Agetoft, Peter Arhenius and Åkerlund will contribute as writers on the project.

The streaming giant has announced its premiere date via its official account. The limited series will have six episodes, with average runtime ranging between 40-60 minutes. Clark will drop on May 5 at 12:00 am PT, and 3:00 am ET.

For the titular cast role of the protagonist will be played by Bill Skarsgård as Clark Olofsson.

Other than the main casts, there are many supporting actors.

The official synopsis of the thriller drama reads, “The fictional drama series Clark follows the man behind the expression “The Stockholm Syndrome” on his life journey as he fooled all of Sweden to fall in love with him, despite several counts of drug trafficking, attempted murder, assault, theft and dozens of bank robberies. Based on the truths and lies revealed in Clark Olofsson’s autobiography and directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the series provides a fictional take on one of the most controversial personalities in contemporary Swedish history.”

The official trailer is not out yet, but Netflix has released a teaser to give a sneak peek of what you can expect from the show.

The show is also TV-MA rated because of strong language, violence, and sex, so it is not for ages below 17 make sure you watch it without kids. That’s all, for now, stay tuned for more updates.
