In January 2022, HBO Max and WarnerMedia Kids & Family dropped the news that the most popular series of the Degrassi Franchise, Degrassi: The Next Generation, will come to the streaming platform in Spring of 2022.

Now, with a brand-new trailer, HBO Max has announced that the 14-seasons of the beloved series will be premiering on Friday, March 25.

Moreover, it was also confirmed that an all-new Degrassi series would be introduced, which will arrive on HBO Max in 2023. The series will later be available on Cartoon Network also.

Julia Cohen and Lara Azzopardi will serve as The showrunners for the upcoming series.

The Canadian teen drama series first premiered on CTV from October 14, 2001, to 2015. It has 385 episodes in total.

The next generation is the fourth instalment in the Degrassi franchise, which is considered the most popular and longest-running interaction of the decades-old franchise.

Yan Moore and Linda Schuyler created the Teen drama with Steven Marvin Sr. Stephen Stohn Brendon Yorke serving as Executive producers.
