Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a graduation degree from a recognized university. For posts where typing is required, the candidate must be able to type at least 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on a computer. Candidates who are waiting for their final results cannot apply. Age Limit
The age limit for RRB NTPC 2025 is 18 to 33 years (as on 01 January 2026). Date of birth should not be before 02.01.1993 or after 01.01.2008. As per government rules, relaxation has been given to various categories — SC/ST candidates are given 5 years relaxation, OBC candidates 3 years relaxation and PwBD candidates are given 10 to 15 years relaxation.
Salary & Benefits

Selection Process

Typing Skill Test: Required for Senior Clerk and Junior Accounts Assistant posts. In this, the candidate will have to show a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
Only after passing these stages will the final merit list be prepared and the eligible candidates will be appointed.

Go to the official website of your RRB, such as rrbcdg.gov.in. There, click on the link “CEN No. 06/2025 Recruitment for NTPC Graduate Level Posts”. If you do not have an account already, then register a new one. Fill in your name, date of birth, mobile number, email, etc. correctly. Upload your educational details, documents, photo and signature by scanning.
Pay the fee online — through debit/credit card, netbanking or UPI. The fee for general category candidates is ₹500, while for SC/ST, women and PwBD candidates it is ₹250. Candidates who appear in the first CBT will get the fee amount refunded.
After depositing the fee, submit the application and keep its printout.
Important Dates
The online application will start from 21 October 2025 and the last date will be 20 November 2025. The last date for payment of fee is 22 November 2025, and the window for revision will be open from 23 November to 2 December 2025.
