Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025 – Stipend / Salary
Apprentice candidates selected by Canara Bank will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000/- during their apprenticeship training period. This includes the subsidy amount provided by the Government of India.
Salary Details:
- Canara Bank will deposit ₹10,500/- into the apprentice’s account every month.

- Selection Process
Understand the selection process in simple terms:
(a) Local Language Test
If the candidate has studied the chosen local language as per their 10th or 12th grade mark sheet/certificate, they will not be required to take the local language test.
For other candidates, the local language test will be conducted at the time of document verification.
Candidates who fail this test will not be selected as apprentices.
(b) Physical and Medical Fitness
Selected candidates will be appointed subject to their meeting the Bank’s prescribed medical fitness standards.

Candidates’ eligibility in the selection process will be assessed based on a merit list.
Preparation of the Merit List:
The merit list will be prepared state-wise.
The list will be based on the candidate’s percentage of marks obtained in the 12th (HSC/10+2) or Diploma examination.
If two or more candidates have the same marks, their ranking will be determined based on their age (descending order).
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
General Category: 60%
SC/ST/PwBD Category: 55%
Note:
- 59.99% = Less than 60%, i.e., disqualified.
- 54.99% = Less than 55%, i.e., disqualified.
- The merit list will be based solely on the information provided by the candidate in the online application.
