Directed by Alex Hardcastle, ‘The Old Year’ is a comedy film about Stephanie, the captain of her high school cheerleading team and a favorite to be a queen. However, when the cheerleading stunt falls, it becomes a 20-year coma. After finally waking up from her coma as a 37-year-old woman, she returns to high school to live the whole school life she missed and become queen.

    Drew Barrymore’s star ‘Never Been Kissed’ is a rom-com directed by Raja Gosnell. The narrative focuses on an editor named Josie, who enrolls in high school to study high school students’ lives and prepare a story report. What seems like walking in the park is already a complicated and challenging task as Josie finds it challenging to get acquainted with other students. Like Stephanie in the ‘Old Year,’ Josie also tries to revive her school life with a specific purpose in mind.

    Zac Efron-starrer ’17 Again ‘is a comedy film directed by Burr Steers. Played by Matthew Perry, adult Mike O’Donnell is dissatisfied with his current living conditions and wishes he could do things differently when he was younger. One day, she wakes up as a 17-year-old boy and finds another dice to rewrite her life. In this, he makes sure that he corrects his past mistakes and is grateful for his life. Despite facing a setback for the main character change, ’17 Again’ also gives Mike another chance to make his little dreams come true, like Stephanie.

    With the help of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s duo, ’21 Jump Street ‘was adapted from an anonymous TV series produced by Stephen J. Cannell and Patrick Hasburgh. The story is about Schmidt and Jenko – two high school friends who turned out to be police officers. They were given the job of going to high school as students and breaking into a drug ring by arresting a supplier. Aside from the characters that should be equal, there are several other similarities between ’21 Jump Street ‘and’ Old Year, ‘which include learning the latest slang and pop references while trying to achieve what they are about to do.
