The Facebook-owned company Instagram is now planning to offer some bonuses to the Instagram Reels creators. It means that from now onwards the creators of the reels will get a chance to earn by creating reels on Instagram.

Instagram earlier launched the Instagram Reels option in order to give completion of TikTok. But now the thing seems that Instagram is giving more reasons to a user to use the Instagram reels. The Facebook-owned company is working on the “Bonuses” feature. The feature will allow users to create money by making reels.

The feature was first witnessed by developer Alessandro Paluzzi. The feature Bonuses states that the feature is only avlaible for the users who create content and not for those who use it on a regular basis. The developer claims that the creators will get paid whenever they upload the new Reel to their feeds.

However, till now the company has not disclosed the criteria for it. But the expected is that it will be on the basis of engagements and activeness of the user on a daily basis. Just like it is there on Facebook. It is expected that there might be some of the “Bonus thresholds,”. To which the user or the content creator has to reach in order to start earning from reels.

It also suggests that the user will also be able to track his/her earning progress. With this, the company is also claiming that it will keep exploring new opportunities for the content creators on Instagram.

One thing to note is that the feature of Bonuses is still undercover. Instagram is yet to disclose this feature globally. It is also expected that the company will launch a new “Insights” feature. The new bonuses feature is available for Reels and Live Reels.

It is mentioned that for the purpose of earning from reels the Instagram will now show more of the insights that include Plays, Accounts Reached, Likes, Comments, Saves, and Shares. For the live reels, the company will collect data on the basis of Accounts Reached, Peak Concurrent Viewers, Comments, and Shares. All these things will be shown to the user under the insights only so that the user can get a broader picture of how Reels and Live shape an account’s performance.

The company said that “We know that understanding more about how content is being distributed is important, so we’ve built new breakdowns that provide transparency into which types of accounts you’re reaching and which content formats are the most effective at driving Reach,”
